As a night sky photographer, it’s a very exciting thing to get the chance to see and photograph the night sky on the opposite side of the planet. if you’re used to seeing the core of the Milky Way facing one direction, looking up and seeing it “upside down” is a stark reminder that you’re not in the northern hemisphere anymore.
