In 2025 my family and I pulled off a bucket list Europe trip that had been in the works for several years. We began by flying in to Paris, where we spent a few days (staying in a VRBO apartment that couldn’t have been more than a few hundred square feet). From there, we rented a semi-possessed hybrid-electric car that I’m convinced was trying to kill us for overloading it while blaming me (it awarded me with a “safety score” at the end of every drive, many of which were probably worthy of a parent-teacher conference). We drove across France all the way to Switzerland, where we spent some time in the Interlaken area as well as in Zermatt. After catching the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in Basel, where we admired my image on display among many of the world’s best, we caught a train that took us all the way across Germany into the Czech Republic, where we spent a few days in Prague. It was a two week trip, filled with with some amazing sights and many memories. Here are a few of the thousands of photos I took. This selection will probably be admittedly a little heavy on the Switzerland part, as that country obviously caters to my appreciation for epic mountain landscapes. Any of these can be printed, just message me using the “Contact” tab!
