Puma kittens start to lose their blue eyes and spotted coats at around 12 weeks old. It’s a pretty rare thing to see them in the wild at this age. This was a special encounter in Patagonia… there were two kittens, and once mom returned from her hunt, they were released to run and play, at various times approaching to within 30 feet or so while mom looked on.
