The Paine Massif is made up of some of the prettiest mountains in the world. When the sunrise kissed the high peaks with this fun cloud cover on this morning the day after a fresh snowfall, I resigned myself to being OK if we didn’t have any luck chasing pumas. At least the effort had put me in a position to capture this image. This was the day we encountered a mother puma with two kittens, so by the end of the day I was resigned to being OK with it if a photography day this good never comes again.
