Making an Entrance
This is a shot that I break out during photo geek conversions occasionally, when the subject of autofocus comes up. Understanding your camera’s autofocus system and knowing how to use it is pretty important. Before I really had a handle on how to set up all the little options regarding subject tracking, servo settings, etc., I would definitely have missed this one. It’s also a great poster shot for why single point autofocus is what you want to be using for fast moving wildlife. This is very close to a super sharp photo of a tree branch in front of a brown blob.
