I had seen this buck a couple times before, and was really hoping to run into him on this outing with the camera. I was about to give up as darkness was setting in, but then I saw his antlers among the trees. He was bedding down for the night. He let me make a wide circle around him, shooting from several angles. This is the background that I liked best.
