This was a fun image that came in the middle of an extended game of “cat and mouse” so to speak with this mountain lion. I was working on getting a shot of the cat’s face (which I eventually got). I was getting the cat coming and going through this area on trail cameras, and I kept moving my DSLR camera trap camera, only to have it come through in the opposite direction each time. It passed through my camera trap 7 times in a two week period, and gave me 6 sets of images of its backside. I like the lighting in this one, and the way the cat is moving into the mysterious depths of the woods.
