Moose are one of the most dangerous animals in North America. I had never really had the opportunity to be very close to one before this moment, which happened along the road through the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park. These two were pretty far out away from the shoulder of the road, where a few of us photographers were standing with frozen fingers in 16 degree weather. Obviously very distracted by each other, they fought their way closer and closer, providing many incredible and rare photo opportunities.
