Bobcat

This image might be worthy of a book describing the journey that led up to finally capturing it. This cat, which I dubbed my “nemesis,” appeared regularly on my trail cameras, prompting a three year quest to get a good image of it. I lost untold amounts of sleep, and eventually dove into the world of camera trapping as a direct result of this cat’s torment. This image was a very satisfying end to a very long game of hide-and-seek with this critter. My first major camera trapping success, this image has been published in several places, including Outdoor Photographer magazine, which gave it a two-page spread.
